question for kac 45 owners. Does the finish wear off easily on these or is it normally quite robust? to those who do have finish wear, how many rounds did it take?

It takes a bit of use and abuse to wear the finish off of the KAC can

There was one of those cans on GB earlier this year with the finish completely stripped off. The ad mentioned something about KAC would refinish it, but their backlog was so long to refinish it that it wouldn't be done for a year or more.

Unsure if there's much truth to that ad, but I'm just an observer.

There’s a photo on the web of the one that’s said to have had over 250,000 rounds through it at the time with the finish worn completely off. It was a range gun Mark 23, still going strong
