Working on my every growing Hk addiction. Another new on the way this week then onto the funding for a Vp9 2020 version when funds permit (dang I’m gonna need another safe). Can someone show me a comparison between the laser etched vs roll mark slide logos on HK’s. Trying to figure out which is which and what I have on my pistols. Thanks!

The addiction intensifies with each passing week. I wished HK roll-marked all their pistols, but they never did. It's luck of the draw when you buy, and HK markings have no impact on the price of the gun.

Just curios why HK would swap between roll-marked and laser-etched for its logo every so often? I prefer roll-marked for everything (i.e. logo, date code, serial numbers, etc.)

No one knows but HK, and they're unpredictable with their brand markings.

Forgive the ignorance, but why does the roll mark versus non-roll marked not impact price? You'd think the roll marked one would go for at least a little higher.

Because although an HK roll-mark is preferred, no one is willing to pay a premium for it. There are too many HKs out there for an HK roll mark to make a difference. The only HK roll mark that does command a premium these days is ".357sig" and "45 CT" and that's because those HKs are rare.
