I got my first two HK pistols yesterday and just spent the last hour shooting one. It's a USP 45 compact with a lem trigger. I seem to be shooting way low. I have been using the cover sight picture on the target and I can't seem to get on target at 20 yds. I have no issues with my other pistols so I am wondering if there is a trick with this trigger I should know.

Thanks

Yeah . The trigger is breaking at the back ( rear ,whatever) . This causes a lot of people to shoot low at first . I would go out and just aim at the berm and get used to breaking the shot .
Crash - Is that in general for LEM?

I'm curious, as my P30SK LEM pretty much shoots POI=POA at 25. (Center of dot hold)

ALL HK's should , and do , shoot that way . By this I mean POI=POA Yes, the LEM trigger breaks towards the rear , But then again Most HK pistols are that way . That is part of the safety issue that HK's customers like apparently , What I am referring to , is a timing issue with the muzzle being where it should be when the shot breaks . I'm not getting into a bunch of negative terminology that might be used to describe it .

Yeah I was confused for a while when I tried an HK45 and it was hitting low for me. Every other pistol I've shot up to that point had POI above or sitting on the front post instead of behind the front post (obscured sight picture) like on the HK.
