Need a favor...If you have a digital caliper AND an HK 100 degree locking piece, please take measurements as shown in my below pics and post your results.

In the pics below is my Coharie locking piece. I had a MIM bolt head that would wiggle left and right when installed on the locking piece. I assumed the inside of the bolt head was too big, causing the left/right play.

I recently purchased an RCM bolt head and have the exact same left to right play when installed on my locking piece. I am assuming the locking piece is undersized on its wide, flat axis.

My LP measures 14.76 and the image you provided shows a spec width of 14.99. This shows my LP to be off by .23 (too narrow).

My gun functioned fine most of the time with my MIM bolt head but the fit to the locking piece was sloppy. I assumed the left/right play of my MIM bolt head may have been a contributing cause to an occasional FTE. I was surprised to find that my new RCM bolt head had the same sloppy fit.

Now, I am confident that my Coharie LP is a little too narrow and thus causing the left/right play.

Do you think my LP being off by .23 is anything to be concerned with?
