I have seen that same exact pistol listed before.
There was some speculation that since the "GSG 9" markings did not match the rest of the engraving depth and font type, that it was done "after the fact" and perhaps by the owner.
This is just what I recall reading. I would look into it further.
Not the first or second time it has been listed on GB.

It is a official directive by the "Bundesinnenministers" (like the Governor on federal level) that non of the equipment used by the GSG9 can be identified as such when sold off.
So this is a fake and beside, what are the chances that this would end up here in the US?
Some collector in Germany would have bought it first.

I bought my blued P7 PSP from CDNN for $599.95 so I will for sure have to pass

I realize I'm bumping a 9 year old thread, but a listing for this gun crossed my screen today and my curiosity brought me here.

Does anyone know what the deal is with this/these? I've seen other guns with the BMI strikethrough, but most of those have a month/year marking that follows. Did the genius importer (or somebody else for that matter) add it, thinking people would believe the GSG was using the BMI's old guns and not getting their own? Any other info?
