I recently bought two barreled actions from BMP and noticed that the shell deflector is a little loose on one. Its not "falling off" loose, but I can wiggle it a little bit. I don't have a complete parts kit, which means that I won't be able to test fire it for function for a little while yet, so I won't know if its a problem until perhaps this summer.

Is a little slop going to cause function problems? Is this common? Is this something I should send back and have corrected?

thanks
C

My CA94SD has some play in the deflector and it hasn't caused me any problems. I've probably put 750+ rounds through it mostly in F/A

A little loose won't change the geometry of it relative to the flight path of the case. You should be good to go.

Thanks for the input guys. I'll let it slide, as its not a problem until it becomes one.
