I'm sure someone else has more specifics, but my understanding is that it won't work as a drop in, because the packs and ejectors were modified for the Lusa design and it has it's own proprietary bolt.

So who has installed one of their HK sears into a Lusa clone? Does it work and is this legal?

Since the Lusa are strictly blow back, even if it was drop in, why bother (other than because)? If you want something different, how about a .40 S&W SD? A little extra "custom" work and maybe a 10mm SD? Check in with Rim Country. They have a .40 caliber package deal. YMMV.
