What was the one thing that you learned from your last trip out?

I found I can shoot a rack of 6, with 6 rounds, clean as a whistle, and 5 minutes later take 11 rounds to do it.

I found that a 188 round match is a very long day. But long of fun too.

That it's nice to have excuses like bad eye site and old knees, but I'd rather not have excuses.

5 ten round mags may not be enough when there are 2 Texas stars on a 32 round stage. Especially when you fumble and drop one (rules don't allow you to pick it up)

and my HK still doesn't jam. It's almost boring ::smiles his jolly smile::

I learned to go faster...but to watch your step. I fell busted my tail (pride) and dropped my MP5...oh and to keep finger out of trigger guard. I did have finger out by some small miracle. I guess I am learning.

I slipped in powedery dust on hard pack...and I don't think cleats would have helped on that hard surface.

BTW MP5 was OK just dusty. My pride still hurts a bit. DQ'd.

Live and learn

I learned I need to stop buying ammo by the case, or switch to .22.

Texas stars are fun! Start at the top, gravity does the rest ;)
