Any one try those plastic MKE 93 mags? Reliable? I did a search and couldn't find a review.

I have heard that they work fine. However, you may need to do some LIGHT file or Dremel work to the mag catch indention on the mags. Most all that I have seen have the indention a hair too low and require you to file away some material at the top of the indention to make them lock in.
Right... they work fine AFTER you make them work. Turk quality...
The ones I got from RobertRTG work well in my German 93A3. They came from him already modified, but they were a bit more expensive than other suppliers. Good mags for the price, I'm just not 100% sold (just yet) on the toughness of clear polymer without them having metal reinforcements. The durability issue has always been an engineering consideration for transparent mags. That said, the feed lips are very thick on 'em. Maybe I'll buy another one to abuse on video sometime in the future. Might learn me a thing or two.
Ordered a bunch from hk specialist. Work great in my German gun.
What I can tell you about them is that they are tough as hell. At one of the SAR East shows, Gordon Miller snapped two mags together, banged them on the table and then threw them over his shoulder to bang off the wall and impact on the concrete floor. Then he handed me the still connected mags. Not only did they NOT break on the connecting lugs, I could not detect any impact damage from getting a deliberate toss in the air and hit on the ground. Granted, the mags were empty, and lighter as a result, but still pretty good mags for plastic, in my opinion.

Maybe someone could load a couple to capacity and give them a toss to see if the added weight would break the lugs or develop any splitting or cracks. Vendors?? Anybody willing to gamble a couple mags for some possible great publicity?
The MKE mags fit my factory 43 very snug but feed and function fine. The mags did not lock up on my clone made from the SW flat. I realized there was a small amount of flashing on the bottom of the magwell that prevented the mag from seating. Rather than messing with the mag catch and modifying each magazine, I cleaned up the magwell with a file to the point where the MKE mags fit the same as the HK. The steel mags go in easily but not to the point where its flimsy. The clone runs great now.
Had good luck with these. Used them on clones & genuine hk's. Worked well!

Mine fit properly in my Vector 93. I've put a couple hundred rounds through one of them and cannot detect any wear at all.
I just received 2 of the MKE the other day and they fit great in my Vector V93,locks up nice, they actually fit better then the 40 rounder I received with the rifle.

This is what I did to make the three I bought from RTG fit and function in my C93. I have had them for about a year now. They have worked fine since the magwell modification.
Ghillie told me that they have to be fitted to clones but that they were GTG otherwise.. I'm going to send some to him with my build project but regardless going to have some HK factory metal mags handy as well
