Do any of you have experience with these mags from Gordon (HK Spec)? I have five of these and decided to take them out again yesterday (saved some money by leaving the C-Mags at home). I initially bought them because they look cool (you can see the rounds through them.) I didn't get my hopes up to much for a plastic mag @ $23. However; I have to say they have really run well for me. Fully loaded w/ Special K and no hiccups from my MP5. They are a little more difficult to seat but after that... bang x 30. :30:

I have a couple and they have ran fine in full auto. The specs appear to be a little off. The lips of my mags sit a little high in the gun and got scraped up by the bolt. My HK mags seat perfectly.

They were worth the $20 or so I paid for them.

Good to hear a report. Plastic has to be thicker than steel so it just figures that there will be potential for some interference. But nice to hear they are working well. I haven't tried them but have been thinking about it.

Do yours take a little more force to seat?
I'll have to look at mine and see if the top of the feed lips are scraping on the bottom of the bolt as well.

I had high expectations with these, as the concept of these mags are a great idea. We weren't quite so lucky with ours. Bought 6 of them, so to be fair.......and tried them in about a dozen differnt hosts. Mostly german & some US clones. Overall not happy with the outcome. Difficult to seat into the mag catch. Mostly would pop out while shooting (due to the pressure from the bolt pushing down on them). And also got alot of double feeds. Alittle tweeking & massaging & these could be awesome mags for the money. I have since given all of them away to customers to try. I haven't heard anything different in return. I will probably get some more in the future & try it again.

Checked mine today. They also have a little bit of scraping on the top feed lips from the bolt and insert with much less resistance when the bolt is open, even when empty. So, I guess they fit slightly high, even in mine, but they still seem to function very well.
I like seeing the rounds. I wonder if anyone ever designed a skeletonized metal mag case that had witness slots or something of that nature for the MP5 ???
