Why the British cops use a semi-auto version of the MP5 (MP5SFA2/3) and not a full-auto version ? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

THey consider there is no need for full auto fire - they are trained to shoot double taps and find that sufficient - that is also generally the method used by our SF in CQB situations.

Nice pic.

What I find funny about the pro-fox hunt people is that they were all young univeristy students. Not the kind of people you'd be expecting to protest about it...

All well and good, but they've been fired up with anti-hunting propaganda by lefty agitators who really know nothing about it anyway and just want to cause trouble.

LONDON - NOVEMBER 1: Armed British police officers man a roadblock outside of the barricaded U.S. Embassy November 1, 2004 in London, England. Security is tight at the embassy as U.S. President George W. Bush and Democratic presidential nominee Sen. John Kerry enter the final day of campaigning before the election.

Out of purely interest, what is the tactical rational between fixed and sliding stocks?

Is one better for comfort, or accuracy?

Re: More pics from London

The fixed stock is more stable and more comfortable for prolonged shooting, but the obvious disadvantage is the size. The sliding stock increases maneuverability.

Wow Sammy,

That pic is just awesome! I can't pin-point why, but it looks sweet! Maybe the clouds... or the ring...or the tie!
