MP5 Left handed operation

I will be getting a SP5K and Dakota Tactical full size Mp5 SBR in the near future when available. My only question is I'm left handed and have never fired a MP5. I like that the SP5K comes with ambi selector. The mag release will be a non issue but how much of a pain is the cocking handle to manipulate left handed? I would think just rotate up and use right hand? Just seeing how others do it. I've always wanted one of these (or three) and now it's time to make it come true

I'm a lefty. Mine has the ambi selector. That is a must I think. The charging handle is no big deal. On a weapon that short, it's easy to use your right hand to come over the top of the gun. Similar to the way right-handed people charge an AK.

While I'm not operator and make no claims of being one, I am a left handed shooter. As skullbox says, I just use my right hand over the top to work the charging handle of my 9mm hosts. It's not quite so easy on the 91,93, and 53 platforms as those are a bit stiffer.

One thing to watch out for on the new SP5k is the rail on top is a bit sharp (at least in the examples I saw at the NRA show), so watch your hands when doing it.
