MP5 "Long LOP" A3 stock.... Use on a 53?

Ok so I bought an A3 stock from Gatewood originally for my 10MM clone however upon receipt I noticed it didnt collapse all the say even though it was bottoming out on the receiver. Some quick research showed this to be something I'd never heard of but a MP5 stock with a longer LOP which is cool HOWEVER it seems it would also fit my 53 correctly. Is there any way to determine compatibility for this application without possibly ruining something? The 53 is a whole new ball game to me and I havent even shot it yet (waiting on stamp) so I want to make sure I dont screw it up LOL

Thanks!

You will want an A3 stock with a buffer for your 53. Recoil impulse is stouter than an MP5. I know some members have run MP5 stocks on 53s but I personally like the comfort of having a buffer in there.

It does have an h buffer if you think I can get away with that lol
I should also add (and I will double check tonight!) that I believe I have a buffered carrier.
If the carrier is buffered you are ok. If not you will need a 53 specific A3 stock as they have a spring loaded buffer. The rubber H buffer in the MP5 stock is not enough support for a non buffered carrier in 556
Looked tonight and it is indeed a buffered carrier (half moon protruding on one side of he carrier) should I remove the h buffer you think? I'm pretty sure it'll kill it haha
