Depends on the recoil rod spring. Regular ammo might not cycle the gun correctly. But if you use a regular spring, the result of the othe parts might be longer life.What are the advantages to getting the new "F" upgrades on a MP5 or clone? I know it shoots +p ammo but is that the only difference.
If one shot standard ammo out of each would the F version hold up longer or be more durable?
Would I need a different recoil spring when shooting 115 grain for target practice at the range with a DP54PF?Departments do have F guns because they have all the newest upgrades and can be reliably fed 124-gr or better ammo. 115-gr can be problematic with the heavy recoil rod.
