I was able to get a MP5K clone build complete and registered it as a pistol but I was curious if it is legal to have a MP5K Vertical Grip on it? Or do I have to stick with the HK SP89 Factory Forearm?
Can not have the vertical grip on a pistol. With the grip and no stock would have to be papered as an AOW w/o a stock or a SBR with a stock.
Of course if you put a papered full auto sear pack or trigger pack in it, the stock and front grip are fine.
Yep, J's right. Which is why I'm thinking of putting a barrel extension on temporarily just so I can use the k grip and stock. And yes I know it's got to be dead pinned and welded. I mean temporary as in I'll cut it back off after the stamp.
