To those that thought the price might stabilize or come down after 41f does not seem to be the case with Ruben selling 2 K guns last week at $41k/trigger pack and $40k/Sear (and I talked with him personally yes that is price he got) seems like a $50k Sear/Trigger Pack not too far off in the distance...........

"Good 'ol day pricing" - Hell I'd pay the full retail price! A lottery win would be more probable than some poor unknowing heir selling a sear for $675.

I certainly believe we are not at peak sear yet, but the market is noticeably softer for the last 8 weeks or so. This $42K MP5K is about a year too soon.

Pre 41F would have been an easier sell as people rushed to squeeze in NFA purchases. I was shot down and heckled for offering $35k and even $40k for a RDIAS during my pre-41F hunt. $29k RDIAS post 41F and I pass...

Waiting for CA to be opened up to the registry, if only we had a crystal ball.

Lol...........I bet some of the Ole Timers around here will testify to all the people who were swearing to get their SOT's back then :biggrin: I'll pass on being a SOT dont need the head ache or the new fees associated with it......The Pre Samples cost almost as much as the Transferable s now so there goes that niche and Post Sample Eh I already Rent my house from the state in the Form of some of the highest property Taxes in the nation I don't want to to start Renting my Machine Guns too.......

Not real "soft" IMO

History proves me correct with two well publicized auction sales of sear guns since I made this post occurring at 31k (one an an MP5, one a 51). The key to knowing pricing is to be current and prospective, not retrospective.

The market is softer as it got ahead of itself but that will change come November.

You made your assertion though based on info "8 weeks" ago which I proved above contradictory/different to your statement/declaration so it def wasnt noticiably softer 8 weeks ago if anything it was def higher more robust 8 weeks ago.......Yes 2 of the last 3 auctions which I publicized on here did end softer though you conveniently left out a Sear Pack that ended at almost the same amount as the Sear/Gun couple hundred less to be exact a few days ago so how does that fit into your theory? HK transferable sear by Fleming : Machine Guns at GunBroker.com and as I have said before I believe the softer conditions are mainly due to the amount $33k-35k sears that hit the market within last 2 weeks........obviously people are trying to cash in on the price spike..........I also think there is a new learning curve or feeling out period after 41F for everyone I know my dealer has not been able to get any New Form 4's in from ATF and is also waiting on Silencer Shop to get his new Kiosk installed he is sitting on over 50k of silencers that need to be transferred..............
