I've been fascinated by them since I first heard about them. Why couldnt they have developed these before 86![]()
Who are you saying sorry too? You do know there are lots of SOT's on this board dont you?It is a post '86 dealer sample. Only an FFL/SOT holder with a law letter can own this Class III firearm. Sorry.
Thanks for heads up...looks like my friend got it! :68:...and the listing says demos and testing but nothing about range rental...kinda fuzzy disclosure IMO. I did let a FFL/SOT friend who is a big time HK collector know about it and he is looking into it as I type.
True. While attempting to troubleshoot the issue with that weapon, I asked how many rounds they estimated had been shot through it and what their maintenance routine was. The gaped mouth and shrugged shoulders told me all I needed to know.I once worked at a rental range about 10 years back. Most folks can't even imagine the volume of rounds that go through these guns, or how fast those numbers add up. I have $20 says that gun has AT LEAST 50,000 rounds through it. Possibly a lot more.
