I went to a couple guns shops today cleaning out their inventories on P30 mags and while I was at a few of them I asked them, "what they are selling the mr556 for?" $2950 and $3050! I about flipped my top. I couldn't believe it. "I" think it's completely worth $2500-2600 but no way in heck it's worth $3k.

Where are you getting them and at what cost? What's the best internet price?

What you think its worth is basically the distributor wholesale price...You can find some sellers on gunbroker willing to make a hundred dollars per item but most shops need to mark them up more than that to keep the lights on... I'd say 2500-2600 on Gunbroker and close to 3K in most shops is going to be average.

It's worth what the buyer thinks it is worth. Seriously, if someone wants it really bad, he'll pay anything.

OT- I saw the new MR762 at my LGS this past weekend. The price tag says $3,999.99 and they only have 1 in stock. Date code is BC (2012) and it's brand spanking new. Right below it is the MR556, with the price tag of $3,099.99!

Around here I'm getting quotes of around 3K for them from LGS sources. TooSixy has found the best I've seen. AviatorDave had them at one time for $2400, that that was awhile ago and before he moved under the rock he is hiding out under.
