MR556 gas block (modified)
Selling the block from my 10.4 MR556 Upper. I want to make sure I am thorough about the exact description.
As you will see, the Gas vent was drilled out and tapped to accept grub screws.
Also, when the vent gets drilled out sometimes the metal will crack where it is thin. So, I sanded down the radius to get rid of the ugly crack. But, it's not the true dimension it once was. I hope the pics are descriptive enough for you to see this.
Now, the cool part is that the grub screws come in an assortment of pinholes.
There is a small, medium, and large pinhole in each of the 3 screws on the left. And, there are 3 that have no holes in them (extra couple I guess).
These different grub screws were created to accommodate the suppressing of the weapon. I did not want to weld the gas block shut.
Anyhow, it's a bit of a franken-piece but it works great!
