Gents, I did my research but couldn't find a definite answer.
I'm invited to attend a carbine course with a good friend of mine. He just received a new Erathr3 gun but can't use it yet since it's a 10" upper and his stamp is still a few months out. I wanna lend him one of my registered SBR HK lowers so he could use the new upper on it. But does it work?
I added him as a subtrustee plus we'll be on the same course so from the legal point we're clear.
Anyone experience?

PS. i'll use my G36C for the course to represent HK

the reason i'm asking is because the mr have a different bcg because of their pin safety. at least i think

Yes they do have a different carrier, but the only issue with that is that MR556 uppers require a milspec type hammer to function.

Any standard AR15 upper will work on an MR556 lower.

Thanks guys. Awesome. I bet his DI upper will dirty the **** out of it but what wouldn't you do for friends.
