The prices seem to be all over the place for the 556. I've seen em for $2800-$3300. Would any of you believe me if I told you I paid $2420 nib (shipped) last oct. for mine? After looking at current prices I feel like I got VERY lucky & the deal of the century.
Also, no one seems to believe me. Owner of a lgs looked at me like I was crazy when I told him. I might have to go back & show him the receipt that came with it.

Ya, my 556 just cost me 3050.00 w/ taxes total out the door. No Brady since I have a CCW. I had my MR762 lined up for a paltry 3200.00 but that fell thru...got tired of waiting for allocations. And when I decided to go 556 the prices started rising pretty quickly. Yep, you got a good deal on yours.
