I will be able to purchase an MR556 within the next month. Is $2750 the new 2012 price? I was willing to accept $2400 plus shipping or $2500 total but I am not seeing those numbers anymore. If anyone knows of a dealer selling them below 2500 please shout it out. I have wanted one for years, I thought the price would stabilize in the $2200 range not keep creeping up.

Is this a supply issue? Are people still buying these for $2750? I just fondled one at NRA 2012 and its beautiful and solid but the Beretta ARX is tempting as well. I believe in HK and their products but I cannot seeing going over $2500.

Any dealers out there that will do a military or first responder discount?

HK raised prices recently so the $2750 is probably realistic on what you will find new from dealers. There may be a few left in the distribution system that were bought prior to the price increase so you may get lucky and find one for around $2400-2500. Go to HK-USA for a list of authorized dealers and start calling, that's probably your best bet for brand new from a dealer.

Also keep your eye on the for sale section of the forum. MR556's get listed there and seem to range from $2200-2400 and are either brand new or with very few rounds through them.
