MR762 Rear Diopter Sight quesion

Does MR762 use different Rear Diopter Sight then MR556? How can I tell the differences? Thanks

The drum would have to be different from that of the 5.56mm MR556 because the two trajectories are different as are the barrel lengths. The placement of the holes vertically in the rear sight drum is selected baed upon caliber, barrel length and ammo type. That is why there are various drums for various calibers/weapons. No sure about availability or markings for an MR762 version of the drum.

G3Kurz is correct. The front sight is the same for MR556 & 762; rear drums are different. MR556 rear drum # 233197. MR762 rear drum # 227635 and are available.

However; foldable front and rear sights use the same for MR556 and 762
