Exactly! Just makes you feel better knowing you at least read something before buying it.I can't wait. I'm ready for one, but waiting for the feedback...but it's not like I'm going to change my mind or anything.
Lol. It does seem a little on the heavy side though. 9.5lbs... If I got one I would wait for the 1-8 scopes to work themselves out and throw one of them on there to use as a battle rifle/dm role. The new USO one looks pretty promising. I will pick one up in late spring unless the reviews suck...

I was shooting an HK417 with a 12.5" barrel full auto today.
The short barrel made it really loud! But it did work very well.
Really if these guns are that nice I may want one!

Woa, that's high! I will pay 2,999.99 for a brand new one when ever the price gets that low. I bet there will be a like new one for sale in the used section in the next 4-5 months.
That won't happen. Dealer cost is higher than that and HK raises their gun prices, but seldom lowers them unless it's a closeout product.

In a different thread in this section there was one reported for $3,350.00. Only needs to drop a couple hundred bucks for me to buy.
As far as HK price increases....look at the pricing of the MR556. Was $3,000+ around the board and now can be bought for $2,400 brand new. I think the price increases are mainly for the guns actually assembled in Germany. With some HK guns being made in the US now, not sure the price will go up any more.
BTW: The MR762 is assembled in US same as MR556 right?

My local gun store has one in stock. Not sure if it's German or US, but he has it priced At $3960.00 plus tax. He does have a gracious $100 discount for cash though...THAT IS F'ING REDICULOUS! Waaay too much I think...
