I'd buy the can off you $200 + the Stampdamn I really want that MR762 but I dont need the can::::
I agree I gave $600 for my OSS MR556 Can, luckily I had gotten a great steal on my MR556 couple years back for $2100..........

I called today, its a OSS deal, they are selling them for OSS on commission, asked if I bought one of each if I could get a deal and they said no, was told they are at 7% commission with no wiggle room, have about 10 of each at 10 am EST today, no CC fees also, also asked if serial numbers on cans match guns and that was a no also, these are Gen 4 cans, new Gen 5 are out, asked what the difference was and they couldn't tell me cause they had no info on the Gen5 yet, for what its worth, just passing info along to help anyone out that might be on the fence about getting one,

Can anyone vouch for these cans? I'd never heard of them until the 2014 thread was revived a little bit ago and now this. Doesn't seem to be much out there on them, which seems strange if they really are as revolutionary as they seem.
Also, I saw somewhere they only come in a specific thread pattern (forget which, apparently whatever the MRs use). Does that mean they aren't going to be useful as a multi-rifle one-and-done can? That was my plan, one 30 cal can for 7.62 and 5.56. But if this one is only going to work on the MR762... I'm really tempted by this but had no designs on an AR-10 at this time. If the OSS can be adapted to 1/2x28 of the AR I just got today I'm in though.

I love my OSS Gen 4 5.56 can I put on my MR556 its great not having a face full of gases when I shoot it. I have talked with OSS techs several times the technology did not change from Gen 4 to Gen 5 other than mainly cosmetics/appearance of the can.......I cannot vouch for the 7.62 yet as I just ordered the MR762SD I was always going to get a MR762 last time I priced they were in the $3200 range so its like I am getting the can for $300................

So my question is did these come from oss or is this a rq had me rifles and put oss can on them and called them Sd. Are the mr556 marked Sd? Is that a different firearm for the sd? Is their anything different from the regular mr rifle vs the sd besides the oss can? Thank TIA.
