You have it backwards....if you could compress it by hand THEN there would be no buffering going on.
MSG 90 / PSG 1 buffer
Greetings. So I shelled out the "long green" for a PSG 1 buffer, arrived today. I am confused (not an unusual state for me) as there appears to be no "buff" to it. That is to say the "piston" does not compress with nearly all my considerable weight on it. Might as well bolt in a solid steel rod for the bolt-head carrier to interact with. What am I missing here?
