Am tempted to cut the front sight and declare it as a keeper......paddle release incoming.
You pretty much have the details on the AK4D. Some of the AK4D users use the Aimpoint and a magnifier. The bipod is the Atlas PSR with ADM QD mount for a pic rail. Some will have additional pic rails on the side for lights/lasers. Typically steel mags as well if you want to go full send.So what else is different on these to build a decent clone? I know the bolt carrier has a scalloped notch in it, the grip frame is marked "S-P-A" and the sights are lopped off with a longer rail on top, and of course the Spuhr stock and hand guard, and some version of the Atlas bipod is used (but no idea which model). And either one of these scopes, or one of two versions of Aimpoint red dots. Anything else, and what are the odds of finding ANY of these outside of Mile High for the stock and hand guard? What are the odds of doing a good Swede build? My PTR currently has a nice set of G3 wood furniture on it (despite it being the rail version) but I might try to get another one that is non-railed for that and use this one for the more modern version. Anyway, thought since you had an AK4D you might like to see one of the original scopes in more detail.
