New to the forum! I got a P7M8 years ago and decided it's time for another HK. I went with the P30L because it felt the best in my hand, got excellent reviews, and I borrowed a friend's and loved the way it shot. I went with 9mm so I can go to the range frequently and better afford ammo--and have the GF shoot it easily as well! It's crazy how the addiction sets in--I'm already wanting a MK23!

Nice! I must say you made an excellent choice but the P30L will definitely fuel the addiction! You should take a look at the HK45c/t models before you get into a MK23. Absolutely amazing .45, much more practical (if you're considering using it for CCW at some point), and much more affordable than the monster MK23. Congrats!!!

Congrats. The P30L is my dream gun but I find the HK45c to be the most versatile. That's why I have two... (stupid I know). If I was you I'd look into getting a USP .45 tactical or grabbing a USPf .45 and dropping in a match trigger, threaded barrel, and adjustable sights. You will have a gun just as bad ass for several hundred less than a MK23.

Also thank you for the pictures. They are very nice, might want to throw them up in the gallery as well they will be much appreciated.

Those are some very nice pictures of a very fine pistol. I have been delighted with my P30L and it's been my daily concealed carry gun for over a year. Only thing I wish I had known before I bought it is that there is no HK threaded barrel for the P30L available to date. I never would have imagined this to be a problem, or I would have done the research first.
