Thanks to the forum member Sickness, I already scored a wood furniture set and a SA metal trigger housing for my C308. Still waiting on the handguard pin, grip screw, and safety selector I ordered from RTG, but I didnt let that stop me from trying things out lol. The spring spacer on this particular HK stock was metal, so I drove the pins out of both recoil assemblies and swapped out the spacer for the CETME one on my fugly black stock. Century looked like they just sprayed a rubbery coating like flexseal, on old beat up CETME furniture, and put it on the C308 lol. Man did it take a sexy rifle, and make it look like garbage. Im really pleased how she looks and feels now. I heard the CETME buffer assy had a lighter felt recoil, but it seemed a lot less invasive, to just swap spacers, instead of using the cetme rear assembly on the HK stock, and having to contend with less fastners holding things together.
