Yes. You should do a detail cleaning to get rid of the factory cosmoline before taking it out to the range for the first time. That stuff is not grease. It's anti-corrosion gunk.Does it need to be cleaned before I shoot it?

pretty much sums up my experience after buying a USPcMy prediction--- You'll take the USP9c out shooting. Afterwards you'll talk to someone about your range trip... They'll ask if you brought the Glocks... Your reply -> "Whats a glock?"
