I just picked up my UMP tonight and the work done on it was wonderful. My thanks to RUF911GT2 (John) for doing all the work expertly and meticulously. I couldnt be happier with my G36 and UMP.

looking good :)

your gonna love it, my USC/UMP is one of my favorite guns.....did a nice job clearing some small tree's at my vacant 40acres the other day :D (trying to shoot my way in farther to make a shootin range.....cheaper to use a dozer I suppose)

Let me know the next time you head out there. Went a little crazy buying some ammo before prices are supposed to go up. :D

My UMP Ready:)

I bought the parts kit from black market part for $422.00 and had a local HKpro member and gunsmith do the work. His dye job is the best I have ever seen. The full auto trigger selector is cosmetic and doesn't even go down to the rock-and-roll section of the selector but the looks you get at the range are the best part.

My UMP Ready:)

Unfortunately all I can do is SBR but the NFA of 1986 I think wont allow me to make it full auto unless I become a manufacturer.

Well we do what we can.

I have heard a rumor that if you can make a 9 series sear (mp5 etc) that is registered work in the UMP it would be legal as the sear is registered. Wouldn't mind knowing if that was true.

I checked with some RKI's years ago when the USC first was available several years ago and was told it was not feasible. The issue has been discussed before, you might want to do a search on the topic. However, I was wondering if the "Poor Man's Machine Gun" rubber band technique would work? Has anyone tried it?
