I recently purchased an HK p2000SK LEM 9mm. The standard medium backstrap came on the gun along with a large backstrap in the box. I looked through the owners manual and it said the SK comes with a medium and small backstrap (this would be good for me as I have small hands). I contacted customer service and they got back to me saying that it's supposed to come with a medium and a large. I then responded with a picture from the manual showing it said that the SK comes with a medium and small. They said it was a misprint which was their mistake but they would not send me a small backstrap. This really seems like some nickel and dime BS over a cheap part when it's their mistake on the manual and it makes sense that the SK should come with a small backstrap as it's a sub-compact gun. Where I work, if a customer spent $600 something dollars one one of our products and we misprinted something we wouldn't even think of giving them the run around over something that costs less than $20.

There is no Small backstrap for the P2000SK. That is the reason why HKCS could not send you one because they don't make one.
Would you mind telling me where you found reference to the Small backstrap in the manual because the one I have does not mention about a Small backstrap for the P2000SK? The parts list actually lists only Medium and Large backstraps.

You had an old manual, probably because your SK is pre-2013 (BD date code). There have been at least 2 revisions to this manual and the latest, which has the backstrap correction, can be downloaded from the hk-usa website.
Did you also point out to them that they mis-spelled the word Medium in that picture?

No, mine has a BG date code which means it was made in 2016. I just bought it last month.

Call Jessie in CS Armory if he can find one in his parts bin he will send it to you. It is already a small gun, so from a marketing stand point Med & Large make more sense.
That link is from the 2013 manual. I have the 2015 manual.

Well, then I guess they made the error when they revised the manual in 2015. Nevertheless, there is no Small backstrap so you will just have to live with it, or sell it and buy a P30SK. They cannot send you something that they don't make/have.
