I had a double hitter yesterday. My USC 45 arrived at my FFL, after I bought it new online last week. And while browsing the internet, I found a USPc 40 (used) at a pawn shop, an hour away from my home. So I picked it up also. I also got ammo for both , and will be shooting tonight.
Now I have:
USC 45acp
SP5 9mm
VP9Sk 9mm
USP Tactical 9mm
USPc 40s&w

Nice additions! I know it's a pipedream, but I really hope that one day HK releases a true UMP variant like they did with the SP5/k/PDW. I know it really wouldn't do anything better than other options that already exists but they are underrated IMO.
Agreed. That's high on the list of "Things I Wish HK Would Offer but Probably Never Will."

@Red Pill @Smile I was browsing Gun Broker, and saw a HK USPc 40. for sale. And when I looked at the information, it was being listed by a pawn shop @ an hour from my house. I waited until Monday AM when they opened, and called them on the phone. No one had made any bids, so the seller was able to take the listing down. I drove there that morning and bought it. He was happy to sell, cause he had the cash in hand, and he didn't need to box and ship it. Of course I bought a box of cartridges just to be nice.

@benben I'm headed out to shoot right now. I'll let you know.

@benben I only had time to run 50 roads thru my brand new USC 45, this evening. But first impressions were very good. As far as general shootability, it was a blast. It is different (of course) than my SP5. Like a truck compared to a sports car. Both have their place. Yes, you can feel the heavy bolt in the USC, but after a couple of rounds, you don't notice. VERY accurate. the first shot I fired from a rifle, I have never fired, and drilled the middle of the bullseye. Granted from only 25 yds., but still. The trigger is about what you would expect from a gun designed for law / military. About the same as my SP5. I had no problems with the function of the gun or magazines. I used Winchester 230 grain FMJ. I am very happy with the gun and glad I bought it. I have made comparisons with my SP5, only because its the closest thing I have to the USC. Remember I paid more than twice as much for my SP5. ( $1700 vs $3500). I think that I am not going to mod the USC to a UMP clone.
For these reasons. It shoots nice how it is now. I can get 20 round mags. It costs a lot of $. If I SBR something, it will be my SP5, first. I don't care if the stock looks kinda Wonky, and I don't need a collapsable stock. I never use the stock in short position when shooting on my guns. So much for my mini review. I hope it helps.
