Got my P2000 v3 last night and took it out for test this morning. It shoots real well, fairly accurate only because I can not hit anything with any pistol. It was a bit snappy but it is a 40, not a 9. Only other 40 I had shot was a Glock 22 and I think I like this P2000 better. I will need to try the different back straps later, getting ready for a week long fishing trip to Canyon Lake.

Well I got back from the lake, the weather was great, my boat and motor ran great, had no problems going anywhere on the lake but the fishing was terrible, and i even lost a Fly reel, that is another story, So today I went to Cabela's and bought some Hornady 155gr XTP's and some 155gr Berry's bullets and loaded up 100 with some winchester 231 for a trip to the range tomorrow. Hope the weather holds. Gotta get used to this 40cal. Been shooting 9mm lately.

That is true we are south of Kansas, I tried those loads with winchester 231 and they seemed pretty weak, so I am going to get some Hogdgon Longshot and give it a try. Shooing this P 2000 I want to use Hornady XTP's but I do not want 180gr bullets, so I am stuck with 155gr bullets.I shot some Federal 165gr loads and they were pretty strong. I am going to try to get my loads that strong. And a range report, same as usual I can hit the target but that is all.
