Hello,
I wanted to introduce myself and I have a question about my new hk45c. First let me say that i have gained a great deal of knowledge from this forum and have been lurking around for a little while. I was in the market for a new carry piece and the usual glock, Xdm, etc was not the route i wanted to go I went with the 45 compact and have about 200 rounds through and it I couldn't be more pleased. With that said, am I right to understand that it supposed to come with extra barrel o-rings? Mine did not, everything else lock, backstrap, spent casings etc. Is there someone on the forum that I can contact to remedy this or should I call HK directly.
Thanks in advance for any help you guys could offer,
Eric

Hey...and welcome to the fourm. I encountered the same "no-O-Rings" as you with my 45C. I emailed customer service and got the standard answer...we sell them on our web site for $4.95 apeice.
No big deal as I am still waiting to purchase several items from the site and will get the o-rings at that time.By the way...everyone here has been more than helpful. One bit of advise...spend some time looking back over the last several 50 or 75 posts...you will learn alot!
Cheers!

Quite a while back I bought my HK45C and it, too, had no extra rings. I simply called and asked Travis if he could send me some and within a few days I had them. Haven't ever needed them but still, they are supposed to come with the purchase.

Yes, that was my thinking exactly. Although it is a very small issue and probably wouldn't even register on alot of peoples radar I believe that it is the point of the matter. If you pay a premium price for a premium firearm you just expect a little more than the average. I have emailed Travis at HK customer service with all of the details, so we will see what happens.
Thanks

After getting spares with my HK45 I think I would be a little erked if I got a 45c and they did not come with any, and getting told well we sell them on our site.
+1 especially for $5 a piece plus shipping. Picking up a new 45c is by no means a small purchase and should definitely come with everything specified in the factory package.

Well put Sleepy, an HK 45C is a bit pricey.

Either HK or the gunshop where you purchased your new pistol should hook you up free of charge, IMO OP.

I guess I was lucky that my 45C came with about 6 extra o-rings.

Travis emailed me back, no hassle a simple email took care of the situation, maybe in the future it will be something they take note of before they leave the factory.

O-rings will go out tomorrow via US Postal Service

Just an update, I just received 4 of the green o-rings in the mail and they through in an HK sticker to boot. Thanks to Travis and Customer Service for making this a quick and easy process and not giving me the run around.

Come to think of it I never got any extra o-rings with my HK45c when I picked it up either. Hummmm I guess I can always get one off of my HK45 if I break one.
