Hi everyone! I just purchased a Vector Arms SP-89 clone and I was wondering what does the markings mean? I know that it is SAFE, SINGLE and FULL-AUTO, but what does the "E" mean?

E = Eins (pronounced 'eyns'). It's "one" in German.

What caliber is the clone? Is that a bolt hold open I see?
It's a .40 cal and yes that's a bolt hold, which I love. I just brought it out to the range today and it was a blast.

Aviator Dave -- thanks for the info. I have heard that it was for a german word, I noone could tell me what it meant.
