OK, so I'd be too embarrassed to ask this in the long gun section. Is there a difference between a HK MR556 and a HK MR556A1? I'm pretty confused trying to chase down an answer and am getting mixed signals. One person told me that they are one and the same, but people just shorten it to HK MR556 rather than typing out MR556A1.

There are standard and completion models, but all are stamped MR556A1. There is no straight MR556.
