Finally got my hands on something else new to me. Vector v93 and an ati at-43. Don't know what I got myself into but I don't care, they are beautiful hahaha been trying to do some research about these and seems like there are a few things need to be checked before I can start shooting them, seeing as they are both new and unfired though I'm wondering if I should keep them that way for now and buy a used one??? Meh I'll decide in the morning hahahaha. Show me all your new acquisitions my fellow noobs.

If those were genuine unfired HKs you might a hv a case to turn them into safe queens and buy a shooter, those are clones their purpose is to be beat up.

Also seeing as your new, IMO the last thing you should be concerned with is buying guns to look at them, take them out, get them dirty, and learn to use them.
Oh and enjoy...

Stock up on ammo. Search out the deals. You’re going to need it.😁

They may be clones but where I live even the clones are hard to find, also are the v93 even still in production? Why fire a new one when its still possible to find used ones to get down and dirty with? Also I may be new to the 33 series but not new to firearms, I have others to get down and dirty with and enjoy. These are kind of just nostalgic ones to mee that I don't mind being eye candy. Real hk or clone looks good to me and that's what I like. Appreciate the input though, your opinion on me being more concerned with handling a firearm instead of looking at them is dually noted.

Amen to that 🤣🤣 seems like finding mags are going to be a doozie as well.

How much are AT-43s going for these days? Wonder what it would take to use that for a HK53 clone?

Got this one for 900, not sure what they are going for but I figured for that price it would be a nice base for a 93 build since sadly I can't have 53 where I'm at.

Ah bummer about that. I have no idea what the market for these is either but $900 sounds like a fair price for an MKE gun! There has been one at my LGS for a while and I have been eyeing it. They are asking $1400 I believe.

Truth be told I probably would have paid $1400 too hahaha there are not common here at all, in fact i have never seen one before but I lucked out and a LGS had one from what he said was over a decade, I don't remember his original asking price but I got him down to 900.
Shoot them! They are not expensive guns and aren't going to be collector guns.
Same things were said about my fmp xg3s

Funny thing is this particular gun show just lost their FFL for some reason lol. So they'd have to send it to another store to transfer it. I'm sure there would be plenty of room for negotiation.

I would still say that about your fmp. They are all just cheap clones not collectable guns.
Collectable is in the eyes of the beholder. A Zenith imported MKE Z-43P just sold on GB for $3200 which is more than double what I paid for mine a few years back.

Thank you for that, it gets tough sometimes trying to explain this to some people lol
Just bc

If something says SOLD on Gunbroker that doesn't guarantee anyone actually paid for it, sellers shill bid their own items on burner accounts to raise the perceived value, then relist it hoping someone sees that last "sold" listing at $3200. Ive never used the site myself, but from what I understand that's pretty common on GB.

Not saying it couldn't or doesn't happen but that would have cost the seller $134.50 to shill bid their own item. I know GB brings some stupid prices and is hardly the preferred method to judge somethings value but when you have something uncommon sometimes it's all you've got.

Bottom line, shoot these and enjoy them. Who knows what they will be worth in the years to come but I don't believe shooting them will affect that much. Have fun!

If the item doesn't get for paid for the seller can relist it for free. There are burner accounts on GB w no active payment methods to shill bid items, if the shill bidder end up winning GB can't charge them. This is how it was explained to me, someone can correct me if it has changed.
LOL... cmon... everyone. These rifles are cool... enjoy them by shooting them. They could go up in "value" for a number of reasons... but just like anything else. If you are into speculative investing, it would be far easier to just throw money at some digital currency, though.
