Took a bit to find where this is done on here, which ended up being a good thing...got me exploring. Anyway, Michigan guy, not new to firearms, just new to HK as far as ownership. I have a USP 40 on the way. Long term bucket list item for me.

I've been a training junkie for the past 5 years or so, new twins have slowed me down a bit on that. Always liked HK products and have a feeling that USP won't be my last.

Cheers.

Welcome Brother! I was a "long time listener.....first time caller" recently myself. I waited 20 years to acquire my first MARK 23, then the addiction struck and I own 3 now. Never made any small humans, so disposable income permits my new "habit" !

Thanks, everyone. Yeah, I've got 4 little Gremlins, well 3, my oldest is in college. Married a younger woman late in life...note to self. Love my kids, even if they create a wormhole for money. Only one daughter so financially that's a plus, LOL.

It really is strange how the years of hard core training have brought me full circle to the guns I desired as a young man. Slaying sacred cows, and figuring out what works, what is mountain from a molehill, and what you can do with a well rounded skillset has been an awesome process. I'll teach my kids how to avoid fads, and build on what works, instead of chasing the latest thing. Very few of them actually pan out long term.

Anyway, it feels good to be buying an HK...and even better to know I can actually appreciate what it is.
