Recently we found this 'unique' HK33K dated 1966 in a superb shape given its age.

If you like 'Old School' HK... you gonna love it!





Here with the HK33E dated 2000.

Check this early features, that by looking at H&K literature, were changed by 1967/68.

The notches to engage the claw mount sight, are placed like the Cetme C military rifles, being to far back to accept the standard H&K claw mounts, as the rear iron sight gets in the way, I wonder if there was a different claw mount system back then:



The bolt head carrier doesn't have the grooves to 'thumb-assit' the bolt closure, like later 33 models will have as a standard feature. This one looks like a normal G3 bolt carrier:



The SEF trigger group has a 'cover' at the bottom, is not 'open' or hollow, like later models:

Still is 100% compatible with newer H&K accessories. Here dressed up as 'E' model:
