Saab95v6 is a member here and the here’s his website with the MP5K stocks for a little less

My personal experience with the Choate and HK marked folders is the Choate had a wobble where it pinned into the receiver and the HK fit snugly and did not (none of the HK marked stocks I own do). May have just been the particular Choate stock I happened to get. YMMV

"HK factory" my butt, those were contracted to CHOATE to make them.....all CHOATE did was to mold the HK logo on them
Choate molded the HK logo on them while they were making the entire stock.

Nobody that's been into HK for more than a week thinks HK makes these; HK contracted with Choate to make them for them. It's is the official factory side-folding HK MP5K stock.

The hinged backplate is the culprit here between Hk and Choate stocks. The Hk marked PDW stocks had the hinged backplate unit manufactured by Hk which was sent to Choate to add the polymer stock. The Choate marked stocks were created after Choate was no longer an Hk contractor and their hinged backplate was reverse-manufactured by Choate. And they produced these for Hk91/G3 rifles as well.

Examining both of them side by side would reveal the differences. One looks like a German Hk product, the other one looks like POF manufacture a “clone” of the genuine Hk article.

Choate Tool Branded. Definitely different mounting solutions. If it actually makes a difference is unknown to me. I almost purchased the Choate Tool for $150. I think I will wait for the HK branded.

I waited and to me it was worth it. That little brand just adds to the guns overall appearance. If that's what you want, don't settle for anything less.

I would prefer the HK branding, however it isn’t completely necessary. But, as you can see in the photograph comparison, the HK branded interface, does look more robust.
