Optic on UMP on HK website

that is in fact an aimpoint. but a clone will also work. the ring is an Aimpoint #122243, seen here:

it will give a co-witness but its below a typical 1/3 lower co-witness with an HK rail (UMP/USC irons are really low as well),I hear HDPS top rails are a little lower though, so It may give a better view. if I was to mount mine up like this, the most comfortable view is with the red dot floating at the top of the hood of the front sight.

I use this same ring on my mp5 clones with the aimpoint/B&T 10266 low mount, for a perfect co-witness

quick and dirty view of the 'co-witness' (again, quick mount, not sighted), the front sight post is actually more visible than this, but this is the best I could do for you guys with the Iphone.
