I had the opportunity to handle a p30 yesterday and just wanted to pass on a couple of little improvements over the p2000 that really impressed me...

While the fantastic new grip on the p30 (rightly) gets most of the praise, I also felt like the enlarged ambidextrous magazine release was very nice and MUCH easier to manipulate and the docking lever was less stiff than the one on the p2000. While not huge improvements, they certainly make the p30 a little bit eaiser to operate and manipulate.

Good observations, it seems to recoil easier too when you shoot it. Maybe it is in the grip I am not sure but it sure seems to everyone that shot both mine today (the P30, and the P2K) that the P30 recoiled alot less. Regardless, I am very happy with my new P30

So, if you didn't get a P2000, skip it and go for the P30? Sounds like that's what I'll do.

I would recommend the P30 to anyone at this point.
