P2000 Question.

Hello, I have been lurking for a while. I have noticed in different p2000 pictures that some frames on the bottom of the grip say "HK P2000" and some say "P 2000" is there a difference? I am guessing the "P 2000" is newer? Sorry if this has been answered before. Thanks!

The "HK P2000" marked guns are older. I'm not sure when, sometime around the 'AH' ('04) coded guns they changed. I have no idea why or exactly when, and honestly I had forgotten I ever noticed that until you brought it up.
Huh. Never even noticed before.

My AF code just says P 2000.

And I thought you new how to count in HK !
Hmm. I never thought about it either. My P2000sk is a 2008 (AI) and has the P 2000 grip. Learn something new everyday I guess.
My AC date code P2K has HK P2000 and my girls BB date code SK has P2000
hmmm

My previously owned P2000 dated AI was a P/2000

OK, anybody got an '06?
My P2000sk is an AG ('07) and shows it as a P2000 on the grip. Can't really see it too well, but you get the picture.

I have a 05 SK & 06 P2000. Both are P2000 and no HK.
2005 AF marked P 2000

So it looks like between AD and AF when HK started changing the logo on the grips.
Does it change with in the variants? I have a sk (ag) v3 and it just has p 2000.
