P2000sk mags

Anyone use P2000sk 40 mags in their 2000sk in 9(obviously loaded with 9)? I can only get 11rds of 9 in the 40mag. I know I am only gaining +1. It hand cycles fine, but just wondering if anyone has success at the range doing this.
