Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knew the factory HK part number for the magazine spring in the P30 40 caliber. It is a darker color than the magazine spring in my P2000 40 cal and my P2000 spring is stronger also. I'll be using the P30 magazine in my P2000 and will probably switch it to the P2000 spring since it is stronger.

All my magazines use stock HK factory springs so they are not an extra power spring throwing me off. The factory springs in my P2000 are part number 218587.

Thanks in advance guys.

P30 40 Magazine spring part number 207218.
That's the spring for the P30SK/P2000SK mags.

Correct part # for P30 .40 mag spring is 215118, same spring used for both 9/40.

Magazine Spring, P30 : P30 MAGAZINE SPRING, P30 | Brownells
Do you know why the spring from my P2000 is stronger than the P30 spring?

The P30 spring is also darker in color.

Maybe the P30 spring is not chrome silicon?

I believe it is due to more stringent requirement by the US Gov't for the P2000 (USBP specifically).
Ahhh, didn't think about that. HK did upgrade one the 40 cal USPc and P2000 magazine spring and they left the 9mm mag spring unchanged.
