After reading the thread and watching the videos about the LEM conversion of the HK45/c and beeing overwhelmed, I wanted to ask if there are any good news about the P30 LEM.

Either from H&K or home made solutions.
Most important thing for me would be a shorter trigger reset.

While home on Christmas leave, I converted my HK45C to an LEM. I utilized all the same springs from my DA/SA set-up minus the sear spring, and the trigger is a real beauty now.

It took me a little over an hour as I didn't have the right tools (punches and hammer), inadvertantly left a piece out, and had to be as quiet as possible as my 2yr old was sleeping in the next room.

Minus my brainfart with omitting one piece and having to disassemble again, it was ridiculously easy with the tutorial provided on the site. I'll see if I can find it and post.

LEM is great. However my P30 is SA/DA and i love it. Won't be converting it to LEM.

There are a number of reputable vendors here on the site that can get you a P30 (with or without safety) in LEM. If you're looking for a P30L in LEM, you can only have it with the safety (P30LS)

If you already have a P30/P30L in a DA/SA configuration and are simply looking to convert then the only option is the LEM kit from RTG (link above)

If the shorter reset is what you're looking for, send it to Grayguns (as V3 or as LEM). I have a P30L, started out V3 and I converted it to LEM with the kit mentioned above. After shooting it for a while, I sent it to Grayguns for their Reduced Reset Duty package, and the reduction in reset is substantial. Not cheap, but worth the money if that's what you're looking for. As mag said, LEM itself won't shorten the reset, but a shorter reset is possible with custom work.

Edit: Doesn't look like you're in the US so I doubt Grayguns is an option for you...I don't know if there are quality gunsmiths in Europe that perform similar work.

Thank you for the information. I'm from, Germany but even H&K is not far away, the service could be better. I may ask them if there is a solution so far let them do the gunsmith work. The German market is small and uninteresting for H&K so you guys in US got more chances to pimp your guns ;-)
