Had a P30 V3 9mm years ago and the garbage trigger was too frustrating and I sold it. I have a P30 V1 .40 upon which I had trigger and trigger reset work done by Bill Springfield. Its trigger pull and reset are quite similar to the match triggers on my USP's. So I want to venture back to the P30 9mm and am wondering about the LEM variant. The youtube search on "P30 LEM" yields video's where I'm just not getting a good description on pull and reset. Add in the rambling, the jibberish and the aimlessness of the videos I watch and my comprehension is out the window. The USP LEM video's are numerous enough that I can comprehend the action/function and soak in what the LEM trigger is all about. So is the USP LEM trigger action/function the same as the P30 LEM trigger action/function?

The USP LEM trigger is practically identical to the LEM trigger found on the P-series, except that the reset is shorter. With the USP series you also gain the ability to have the match hybrid LEM trigger, which is by far the best LEM trigger variant.

Use the search feature here. Navyman and another who I believe may be Skullbox had made videos explaining the LEM as well as showing the variations in pull weights, unscientifically, but close enough for shooter's needs. For me, LEM is the best trigger out there for CCW. Some pull or jerk triggers and those tend to hate the LEM. For those with trigger skills learned, its dream butter IMO. I do not own a P30, other than the P30sk LEM which may feel different since its an entirely different arm. That said, many cry about triggers, expecting 1911 like feels and that just never happens in any polymer frame. HK is not a 1991. HK is far advanced over a 1991 and made for action and combat defense. Also dry fire vs live fire differences. My point being, one must choose what they like and use best. We all have different purposes.
On the USP, a LEM with the added match trigger w/over travel screw is the finest. If you do not need that screw, then plain LEM. There is no better.
Bear in mind, HK's only get smother with the more rounds downrange. 1k+ and you start feeling it smoother and sweeter.
Shop around for the best deals. Some items have had great pricing recently from various vendor sites.

I will say the P series has a reset stall for the most part in the reset. Both for the LEM variants and for the DA/SA P series pistols.

Best I can do for ya for the P30 series light LEM is my P30sk review. Start it at 9:25 on the nose and run it till about 11:13. I have to warn you I go into an "And" jag for no reason. I don't usually do that, I think I was distracted by my cats while talking or had a Hillary Clinton moment and "Short Circuited"
