P30LS - wanting to get slide milled

Any recommendations? Will Langdon do it if I just send the slide in? I thought I read somewhere where they wouldn't work on a pistol with a safety. If true, why would that be? Doesn't make sense to me.

The customer service with them is top notch. Give them a call.
Not sure about p30 but my mark 23 was just done by Gun Cuts and it was affordable, fast, and good quality

what kind of milling are you after?

slide cut for a Trijicon SRO.
I think Langdon can mill your slide fine; they just don’t do trigger work on S models. I have no idea why. Worth a phone call.
Otherwise Wright Armory for milling, possibly Ashbury Precision and Impact Machine off the top of my head

I haven't done a ton of research for alternatives since Langdon started doing it, but yes they absolutely will mill your slide if you send it in to them - last I checked the rate was around $300.

I might be a weirdo, but I have never been a big fan of slide milling mostly because HK's factory finish gets lost when its done and VP9's are cheap and plentiful which are optics ready out of the box.
