Yep, by email, I was told the same thing.Mine has done this, and hk cs stated it was designed this way:
"Grant,
Per Germany it was designed this way. So what you are seeing is normal.
Thank You

Same here. If it were to continue, I would contact HK CS.Mine did that once. Took some doing, but I eventually got it shoved back on. Now I'm just careful not to twist the spring while cleaning it (that's how it popped off) and it hasn't done it since.
It doesn't last long. Some of the red flaked off mine on the initial cleaning. It was all gone after the first range trip post cleaning.Mine doesn't have red on the smaller spring, Interesting.

That is a defective recoil spring assembly. Period.
Let us hope not. Mine's good- so far- but with several of them having came apart, according to this and another thread... not so good. Once I get my new holsters for this P30SX, I will really start to work on it, at least up to 1000 rounds. If it stays together, good enough for me.That is a defective recoil spring assembly. Period.
X-Grip is supposed to be working on adapters for them. The P30SX is an interesting little HK. I'm still working on setting up just how I will get these 13/15 round magazines set up for the smaller pistol, but I have a crap load of both USPc and P30 full size mags to play with... so we will see.
